New Big Question

In 20th century, how does race matter? Is there any lesson we learn from racism to work more collaboratively? How can we share/emphasize the things we have in common more than the things that distinguish us?

  1. Now that you've refined your question, how do you intend to go about answering it? What evidence are you looking for, and what types of resources will you consult?

  2. I could only see race nowadays as being used as a small indicator of a person's genetic makeup and maybe a tiny indicator as to what areas of greatest potential are. I do not mean to use stereotypes, only ancestry. (An example being that white English people stand a little bit better chance against the bubonic plague because of the genetic code past down to them from their great to the tenth great grandparents.) Socially an economically speaking however, it would be interesting if you could prove that there is no difference what-so-ever between the races. This would ultimately be the nail in the coffin for all racism and stereotypes. Good luck with it and I hope you find your answers.
